IACS Approved SOLAS 70KN, 95KN Offshore Platform Davit For Lifeboat

The SOLAS offshore platform davit is installed on offshore platform, it is lowering lifeboat and rescue boat depending on boat self weight, and recovering the life boat and rescue boat with electrical winch. The structure of the davit is simple and performance stable and reliable.

This platform davit is a special equipment for lowering and recovering boat with winch, which is installed on the platform.

The davit is manufactured and test under the approval of Classification Society such as CCS, BV, ABS, DNV-GL, EC, MED, RMRS in compliance with the latest requirements of SOLAS.

Lowering of boat is dependent on its own gravity with no need of any other power.

The davit is designed for boarding the boat in stowed position. The boat may be lowered without stopping as turning out and lowering is a continuous movement at a minimum of time-spending.

The boat is turned out and lowered by means of remote control that the crew can release and stop the hand brake of the winch from inside of the boat via wire connection to the brake arm and wire spoil on the small drum. Alternatively the crew can operate the hand brake on the deck.

A permanently mounted motor on the winch is used for hoisting the lifeboat with 2(two) persons back to the stowed position.

The winch drives and equipped with one-way brake, disc type axial friction clutch and manual hoisting crank with safety device.

This davit conforms to the requirements of the Amendments to SOLAS 1996---MSC.47(66) , International LSA Code MSC.48(66), IMO Resolution MSC81(70) and MSC.216(82),MSC.218(82) and MSC.226(82).
